Did somebody say slide?

Cannon's a sliding pro. It took him a little while to want to slide by himself but now that he's found that independence, there's no turning back to co-sliding.

The playground holds great enjoyment for kids of all ages as demonstrated by Uncle Mitch on the spring duck. Hope you enjoy as much as I did in filming...

Chuck E Cheese

Cannon had been to Chuck E Cheese before but he was a little too young to understand that he was supposed to have fun so we re-visited for Elena's birthday celebration. He was really diggin' the little vehicles like the school bus and the green car with some plastic dude passenger. Cannon wasn't crazy about the motion once a coin was inserted but loved sitting in them and drive, drive, drivin'. He had a great meltdown at the end when we tried to remove him from his favorite car once the line started to build.

HELICOPTER!!!

Cannon is fascinated with helicopters. Dad and Grandma have quite a collection of helicopter videos from youtube that keep the boy captivated for great lengths of time. His favorite is Red Bull Helicopter that does cool stunts like back flips and rolls. Cannon can say "helicopter" and definitely "red bull." It's a marketing success. Check it out.

Mom & Dad's Experiment

An attempt was made to cut Cannon's hair ourselves - just to see if we could do it. Really, how hard can it be - use clippers for the bottom and trim the top with scissors - so simple. Cannon was cooperating until one bob of the head made Dad take a big ole chunk out of the back. Thanks Dad!

Grandma's Garden

So we spent most of last weekend creating Grandma's garden. Cannon was a BIG help. As Mom and Dad set the flagstones, Cannon helped Grandma mix the soil and dig.

Belated Valentine's Day Portraits

Only a month late in posting these portraits. Cannon enjoyed posing with Nana, Uncle Jim and Dad. Pretty much every shoot with Cannon is successful (barring Santa Claus) cause he's the biggest ham ever when it comes to cameras - but I think the product from this shoot was quite good especially considering it ran long - way past nap time.

We're making progress!

So, we've given in. Updating the fancy-schmancy baby website is such a beating. Cannon is now 18 months old and it's time to move to the easy-posting blogspot format to keep the masses updated on his daily discoveries and adventures. As you can see, this adventure is Cannon's destruction and consumption of a chocolate cupcake - he likes the taste but also the feel of decadence running through his hair. I hope you enjoy our new site and WELCOME TO DA RITTERHOOD!!!
